In my experience it takes around one week for the mind to catch up to the body while travelling. you physically land somewhere else but you mind takes its sweet time getting there. day 1 of retirement* and patiently waiting for the mind to arrive at the present moment.
What i don't want you to know about me is...... i'm a heck of a lot better at helping other people sort out their stuff than i am at sorting out my own sometimes

i'm not talking health, fitness wellbeing for me here. that's my passion, my job my lifestyle , so that's easy for me .. but some other stuff like i had two letters from the council and now an email about not responding to saying who lives here for the electoral register 😯

i have a big form to fill in that's been sat there for two months 😲
the dust on my stairs has started jumping up my nose when i walk up them 😧
does anyone have all areas of life sorted out and running smoothly? probably not and that's ok... until it isn't.
no one feels motivated and full of energy to get a shift on all of the time and that's ok too.. until it isn't
so how do we know when the balance has tipped into it not being ok ?
for me it's in persistent uncomfortable feelings. they are a motivation for change because it becomes easier to take action than to feel constantly bugged by something.
feeling uncomfortable or bad about ourselves in anyway is a sure sign for action. inspiration, motivation, energy for action will only come when that first step is taken and it comes from the relief of the uncomfortable feeling. its definitely not a case of waiting till you feel better .
so today is about cultivating the mindset i use in other areas and help my clients with all the time to walk my talk in other areas
