So i've got some exciting news ... i will start training part-time at @anytimefitnesswindermere in february! ☺️💪🏼 what's even more exciting is that you don't have to be an anytime fitness member to train with me. and we'll be offering half off training when i start.
i'm so excited for the chance to work directly with people face-to-face, one-on-one.
i'm joining the most dedicated and knowledgeable gym staff i've come across in my 10+ years on gym usage and athletic training. i cannot say enough good things about this gym. it is my home-away-from-home, and i'm looking forward to getting to know even more members.
in my shadowing so far i have realized there is so much more i want to learn when it comes to fitness.
i studied english and marketing in college. but what i've found is that passion is half the battle. when you're excited by the chance to grow and learn, you will put in the necessary time and work.
i've realized i need to slow the f down when i talk. 😅 but also that my background in communication will help me really relate to people because i have walked the same journey. i have a busy 9-5 and know how hard it is to get into a fitness routine.
i've realized that i am a perfectionist and get discouraged easily when i mess up. i've realized i need to get rid of that bad habit right now if i want to at all succeed. this is advice i give all the time - you don't have to be perfect to start - and i need to take it myself as i start this new adventure.
i've realized how excited i am to get out from behind the computer and start working directly with people again on something as important as their health and wellbeing.
these last two and a half years have been a whirlwind. from getting my own 💩 together, to being able to help people around the world get motivated, to earning my cpt, to releasing workout guides that truly earn results, and now, to what i have been working toward this entire time - the chance to train one-on-one - it's been an amazing journey. i hope i get to work with some of you soon! 😈💪🏼
Day 11 of #newyearnewbalance is flying ninja/eightangle... soooo i burned a lot of strength and energy trying to remember how to land eight angle from handstand again because i keep letting that 🍑 hit the floor haha i finally got it at the end but i was so tired that nothing else happened... here's to more work on slow lowers (like i've been saying for... forever??) 🖤 hosted by @coffeeandrainbows@natashaswinter@loveasc sponsored by @firstname.lastname@example.org
