Don’t let pride and the desire to maintain a certain lifestyle or social status trap you in continuous debt and become a way of life for you and your family.
don’t blame your salaries for not making you rich. blame your spending habits.
be frugal. not a cheapskate (yes, there is a world of difference)
frugal people, while budget-conscious, still do spend wisely by prioritising the things they love and value enough to splurge on while cutting back on the things they are willing to forego for the moment. being frugal is not about avoiding spending. it is looking beyond the price tag and making smart buying decisions which will ultimately pay off in the long run.
cheap people only care about the cost, not the value of something. they are so unwilling to part with their cash 💸💸💸that they will shamelessly leech off others or manipulate their way into getting the lowest price on everything and anything. their mindset is tuned to everything is overpriced 😂😂😂 and they scorned at paying premium irrespective of quality.

I just need everyone of you out there to know that we aren't perfect when it comes to the nutrition thing!!! i remember one time i was in a bible study with a woman who said her family hadn't consumed sugar in a full year!! that will never be us and that's okay!! the only thing i strive for is balance. there are vacation treats that we don't feel bad about!
but, we have also come to a place where we know what it feels like to feel healthy and good and that means more to us than eating food that does not serve us on a day-to-day basis!! i am obsessed with being their mom! cheers to summer!
