come and taste the land, come and taste your own soul.
with each smell, taste, touch, sight and feeling you can start to gather stories and awaken memories in your heart.
you can awaken to your own nature through exploring nature if you take the time to open and to listen.
by delving amongst petals, through breathing in the heady scent of the land, through slowing down and asking yourself how does this feel? asking yourself, no one else, how each moment feels to your own self, you will start to hear your voice of wisdom, of childlike joy, of pleasure and of hope. you will start to communicate with your senses and your inner knowing. you will start to remember and then you can start to reclaim. reclaim you, reclaim the feeling of belonging, reclaim the wisdom in your being. you belong to this land, it is your birth rite, you have been amongst it for generations. go seek what you need, go seek the beauty and life force, go seek learning away from this sometimes grey and concrete plastic life.
I wouldn’t usually eat them like this, i would be more respectful of my food and my body. it’s just sometimes things can be too serious or people can become too scared of eating a flower or a leaf. so i was being silly 🤪😬
It’s world turtle day peeps! don’t you just love them? when i see videos of turtles eating plastic bags (thinking they are jellyfish) and a straw being pulled out of its bloodied nose, i feel sorry, sad and mad. but there are also hopeful stories of turtle rescues and beaches being clean up so they return to lay eggs once again. here’s a shout out to the folks who are doing every bit for the turtles 🐢.
