think transition, postponed plans, a life in suspension, stagnation, and frustration. you may be questioning the deeper meaning and purpose of your life; old beliefs and ideas have lost their meaning and no longer satisfy you, but you're still confused about your new direction. you are unresponsive to anyone else's opinion and go your own way doing what you think is best, operating from ego rather than your higher self. you're stuck in a rut because of rigid ideas and fixed concepts. if no one seems to agree with you it may be because others have moved on and you have not. you could also be waiting on information or guidance before you are able to make a move or decision.
be wary of an inability to consider change, rigid values or holding onto old values rigidly, unwillingness to make necessary sacrifices or do the work necessary for success, sacrificing too much of yourself for others, or regarding yourself as a victim rather than learning from your experiences. be willing to reverse your attitude or approach, look for the true meaning or essence of the situation. consider doing something that is out of character for you, something you may have been longing to do. consider whether a short-term sacrifice could bring long-term gains or satisfaction. evaluate how or in what situation you are hung up or your hands are tied - have you been sacrificing too much, or uselessly struggling against a situation over which you actually have little control? identify your inner or higher principles and align yourself with them in your actions and attitudes.
addictions and self-limiting behaviours are being addressed. this is a time when you or someone else in your life may be placing too much emphasis on the material physical world and its pleasures. even though we're all born *connected* to the divine source, we have a tendency to pull away from what was once natural. when we become disconnected the source that once nourished us is often replaced with a different supply or substitute. the connection is then forged with food, alcohol, nicotine, codependency to someone, or even work - hence, the term "workaholic". many of us spend our lives trying to fill the void that was created when the link to the divine was broken.
take a hard look at life and ask yourself: where in my life am i suffering from addictive behaviour? is there negative thinking or behaviour that's causing the life force to seep out of my soul? are the people and relationships in my life giving me energy or are they draining it?
learn to embrace your fears and all of your doubts so that every situation in your life becomes a learning experience. gaining the knowledge that the physical world teaches will help you transcend to a higher spiritual awareness.
