As a busy mom, i understand how hard it can be to routinely work out and eat right with such a jam-packed schedule. however, if you want to teach your children how to lead healthy lives, taking care of yourself is essential.

i’ve had some questions recently from people close to me and those of you on here about how i keep pushing through the irregularity of routine within my working hours and how i get that consistency. il be honest my routine is all over the place and being a very organised individual it’s something i really struggle with. however i have consistency in the things i have control over. for example; my diet, and training sessions. i go in to that gym with a goal and get it done with 100% effort whether i hit my pbs or have lost strength due to the fatigue i experience from the change over of shifts. as long as i give it my all every session that is all that matters to me. yes i want to compete and do well and i know i can, and yes i have a career which i love and do not yet want to change. i’ve accepted that one of those will have to sacrifice. right now i am not competing at least until next year. i will still practice my posing and yes of course still have this as a long term goal. .
but ask yourself this question. everyone looking to get lean - do they all want to compete? no. do they look amazing? yes. half the people out there put 100% effort into their body guys and just because they aren’t competing in bodybuilding doesn’t mean it’s shouldn’t be acknowledged nor praised. .
anyone else work shifts and find this a struggle? comment below - after all this is a portal to give and gain knowledge ☺️ .
excuse the totally wiped out face in this photo i probably could of smiled but i had a bit of tunnel vision and got super duper focused and in the mindset. this is my time and the one thing about this sport, is it’s all
you. no reliance on anyone else ✌🏼 #goyourownway
