Congrats to my 16 year old nutrition client @lydiazidan on her amazing performance in the youth us nationals at the weekend. #repost@lydiazidan with @repostapp
yesterday was my first and last youth nationals! i competed in the 75kg weight class and came in 6th place overall with a 146 kg total and two pr lifts of 64 and 82 kg! so technically, i’m the 6th strongest 75 kilo girl in the country 😤😉. i’m really happy with my performance despite the sub par form but even more excited to improve over the summer! thanks to both my coaches @hulk_weightlifter and @grizzman_mauzy and thank you to @mark_fitduo_dxb for helping with nutrition! couldn’t have done it without you all! i learnt so much from this meet and i won’t soon forget it! next meet july 7th and i can’t wait! another plus of competition, lots and lots of gummy bears.

Are high intensity workouts for you?
depends, if you want to reduce body f*t quickly then yes, but you can also reduce body f*t by doing steady state resistance training and aerobic exercise too in a slower format.
hiit is a good concept to really push that body to its ultimate and to sweat like a motherfudger... but if you do too much your muscles can actually go into a catabolic effect. catabolic means break down, so the breakdown of your muscles if performed more than twice a week because of the pressure your muscles are going through at a speed.
try 2 hiit workouts a week,2 active steady state aerobic workouts after your full body resistance training twice a week and make sure your nutrition goals are on point to help the muscles recover properly.
