Weightloss wednesday! the caliper. this is one of they ways i like tracking the change in body f*t because every mm counts! i usually feel f*t and gross when someone is taking my measurements but have decided to rather see it as motivation. my 2 favourite measurements is on my tummy and my thigh. ps. its easy to measure accurately if you know the markers!
I’ve been at it again in the kitchen. since my injury almost 3 years ago, i learned one year ago how vitally important my food is for my healing. i’ve been following cristina at @thecastawaykitchen for a while and love all the content she puts out for us. if you are keto, aip, paleo, dairy free, nut free and/or nightshade free follow her! also she just released her new cookbook called made whole. mine is arriving via amazon tomorrow and i’m very excited! i’ve actually never purchased a cookbook ever in my life!! 🤗
this morning i made her recipe for chicken salad (you can see some of this in my stories) and also boiled up some eggs 🥚...but i need to focus on them again next time because i cooked them too long but they still came out great! i just want to try the 7 minute egg which i’ve never tried. i didn’t have the packet for the seasonings as per the chicken salad recipe but i made my own with ingredients i had. i used the avocado mayo from @primalkitchenfoods which if you haven’t tried it you need to omg! so good. 🤗
