Food made with love is always much tastier than normal. when there's a mum's love involved it becomes 100 fold better. here's a tribute to chef deepa suhas awchat of @goa_portuguesa - the brain behind a range of authentic goan spice mix. we had the chicken xacutti made by @johann__dsilva using the spice mix and it was delicious. can't wait to try the rest of the range. these are available at the restaurant and on amazon.
Don't we all love fancy looking food? there are also times when certain dishes might not look the best but they are b**g on when it comes to taste. this rustic palak paneer and kadak butter roti was our mumbai goa highway lunch.
We bet you can't wait for the 1st & last saturday of every month once you've experienced the "saturday supper club" @grandhyattgoa we got a chance to experience this last week. and it was one of a night.
the experience starts at the 'capiz bar' where we were served some of the best bellinis along with an unlimited selection of premium cocktails, a beautiful blue live gin bar and live italian antipasti, charcuterie and cheese bar. whats more exciting was the tapas menu handpicked and curated by chef @danstedjr
we were then led to 'the verandah', the main dining area where again we were in for a grand italian feast of soups/ live fresh cheese/ salads/ breads/ pasta / pizza counters - a specially designed light dinner menu along with a wide range of desserts.
the saturday supper club begins at 7:00 pm at the capiz bar, however for those that choose to make a day of it can enjoy complimentary access to the swimming pool, steam, sauna, whirlpool as well as 50% discount on snip prive salon services.
