Originally this was more of a #humday post but then i noticed how uneven my calve inserts are, anyone know anything about this? (i've assumed for awhile that my hips are uneven) maybe i need to rely on my b**t to distract from it? 🤔😓
if you told me one and a half short years ago that i would be that lady on the right today...i would never have believed you. there's one thing about momentum - you need to start your own. motivation isn't going to carry you 💥 you need to make the choice to do the things you keep procrastinating - that's what's going to determine your success 💯 push through the moments when you don't want to get up and move or when you don't want to meal prep. decide to put you and your health first because you are worth it!! 🙌

hey smarty pants, did you know that aerobic exercise is good for your brain?
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖. it’s true! .
apparently our brains naturally shrink as we age 🤔😭.
but, consistent aerobic exercise can increase the size of your hippocampus (a section of your brain responsible for learning and memory!). woot!! .
this is good news for those of us who want to stay sharp as we age... and for those of us (myself definitely included 😂) who’ve developed mommy brains after having children 😉! .
***notice that i said aerobic activity... which means getting your heart rate and intensity up!***
this doesn’t have to mean jumping, however.
i’m here at the barre, sweating it out and feeling the cardio burn in a low impact plie squat combo!
🌸helping me get that little extra burn 🔥 are my new (pink! 😃) toney bands!wrist weights 🌸. so great for anyone with gripping issues but still want to do weighted exercises! .
