Yummm!!😋 for #lunch today i made some japanese-inspired bbq 🍗 chicken drumsticks!! had some delicious leftover dressing, that very much reminded me of goma dare- an addictive sesame dipping sauce that my mom would serve with shabu shabu growing up. my dressing was a blend of sprouted pepitas, ginger, green onion, asafoetida, lime, 🍓 strawberry, maple syrup, extra v****n olive oil, sea salt, @drcowanspowders 🌊 sea vegetable powder, and 💗 love! 👍🏻thoroughly coated these @costco#organic drumsticks (only $1.79/#) with the dressing and baked in the oven till done! ✅ proud kitchen playtime lunch creation moment. 🙃 #paleo#leftoversreinvented happy friday!!
It is very unlike me to post about dinner. i usually ,lately, try to write about what my journey with food is.
and today i feel like maybe just maybe i can go about a mostly healthy food routine where i'm not tracking and just making better choices for me. .
as i'm still recovering from pulled out wisdom teeth, i really had to think out of the box and even tried lots of new things to incorporate soft yet nutrition packed foods during recovery. .
these noodles for example i boiled in bone broth(from the soup the other day...lots of left overs). these are yolk less egg noodles . meaning lots of egg white and made with semolina and durum flour instead of wheat. = lots more protein than regular darn pasta and not as spiking to blood sugar.
this was my first attempt at arugula cashew pesto from #runfasteatslow (my first receipe period) and i kinda made it too creamy instead of oily and chunky...but that's ok. it worked out because i felt like i was eatting alfredo on my noodles and non of this was going to get stuck in sensitive places. i felt pleasantly full after that. .
