💦 a pretty little reminder to get your hydration on! 💦 💧 💦 i can be pretty bad at remembering to drink water throughout the day. something that always helps is jazzing up my water with a little fruit, like this classic cucumber-lemon combo.🍋. it tastes like a spa day 💁 and having pretty water makes me way more motivated to drink it. 💦 everyone's hydration needs are different, but a good general rule of thumb is to aim for half your body weight in ounces of water per day. 🍋 what's your fave fruit to kick your water game up a notch??

i never really follow recipes to the t. what i like to do instead is come up with strategies that make it super easy and simple to improv while getting a healthy and delicious meal without spending hours and hours in the kitchen. 👩🔬 for soups, i break it down into 3 main steps 👉 base, condiments, and main ingredients. 👂
as a rule of thumb, your base is almost always an onion-garlic combination. stir-fry until golden and fragrant, and you’re ready for step two, which is adding the condiments. ✍
pinch here and there of spices and herbs can do no wrong. if you want to make your life extra easy, just buy a ready spice mix, and you won’t even need to think about it. 😔
lastly, add any veggies you like and cover with veg stalk or water, bring to a boil and simmer until done. here you can also add grains or legumes to make the soup more hearty. 🤤
that’s it, take off heat and add salt to taste, squeeze of lemon juice and freshly cut herbs, like cilantro and green onion. 🧚♀️ boom. 😎
