you can do these with a landmine but it’s actually the same with a assisted t-bar row but so much easier to put the weight on the bar!☝🏼
i like to interlace my fingers, take a wider stance, lean a little forward while keeping my back straight ✅
you can put quite some heavy plates on it, but always remember to have the right muscles working 💪🏼 form and connection over weight 😊

👉i combined hip extension with internal rotation movements because they’re related and lack of either one has been linked to glutes inhibition and shortened walking stride, with common compensations including overpronation of feet, knee valgus, and increased knee and lumbar extension 👉👉these two exercises can be used as a test and also as a treatment; unless contraindicated, i use them with my clients and also love doing it myself, especially after long bouts of sitting 👉👉it’s important to keep the tailbone down, and initiate these movements from the glutes with focus on hip joint actions while avoiding excessive motion in the knees ✨ become interested in your frame, in your wellness, in your self care!! ✨ happy friday!! 🙋🏻♀️💕💕 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

We like to keep most of our vitality oils together in the kitchen 1) for cooking and 2) for easy capsule making. i didn’t have a diffuser for the first year i had essential oils, so i became very familiar with the benefits of taking oils internally. i would only recommend young living oils to be taken internally. most other oils are perfume grade and for aromatic use only. yl makes it simple with their white label vitality line. same oils, different label. ✨

Part two of my conversation with @peter.lavoie and @scottsimonsinc - for their upcoming podcast! here we discuss the word (w)holistic, and what it means in reference to my nutrition practice. when working with an individual, i treat the whole person - looking at all major (interconnected) areas of their lives. this allows me to get to the root of their health issues, and help them effectively. i also look at the whole picture of food - advocating whole nutritious plant foods over processed items. finally, i account for the individual’s whole experience of habit change - not just the end result. when the process of making lifestyle change is positive, we are more inclined to maintain healthy habits in the long-term. what does #holistic mean to you?🌿
