What a journey, met with the web designer today & i have been buzzing since, i am so excited about our new look website, it's awesome and suits our brand perfectly.
on august 16th 2012 i took a risk, i cleaned up an existing restaurant with the help worth my family and partner at the time and we opened ireland's very first gluten free restaurant! the plan was to open for 10 days as a "pop up" but due to it's success we remained open for two years.
within those two years the brand organically developed and i was invited onto many business related bootcamps and programs and we even got to trade at ireland's leading music festival in 2014 @epfestival
in september 2014 we decided not to renew the lease as the location wasn't suitable and i went on a three month business program where i was mentored by 3 dragon's including @gavinduffydragon
from there i went onto another eu funded project called the tradeit program which i got to attend many workshops to teach me how to build a viable business model, i got to travel to germany, italy and brussels on this project and even though i was very unwell and on waiting lists for surgery's, undergoing treatment and in recovery for three invasive surgery's my business project kept me focused, excited and positive to help us through it.
in 6 to 12 months my food products get launched into retail and food service, we have branded merchandise arriving and a brand new website. the excitement is real!
never give up on your path, even through the most challenging of experiences keeping focused and positive of your outcome is an amazing feeling.
6 years ago we were about to open a cafe without any cash and we did it
we have collaborated with @bossybdesigns and look forward to the new look!
online store is still open for business until the new look is ready to showcase!
„what seems so hard now, will some day be your warm up.“ - loved that routine tho i really s*****d it up sometimes! :d i‘m already missing the class and peeps.
