Our birth story
on friday march 30th, zach an i had to be at the hospital that morning to get hooked up to a monitor an get labs done because over the past 2 weeks prior my blood pressure kept getting higher an my swelling was getting worse! after waiting for hours the nurse came back an said that i had developed preeclampsia an it was too risky to try send me home so i was being induced. (keep in mine i still had 3 weeks to go till my due date an on top of that my ob was out of town for the weekend!😳) i instantly started crying because my fear of having this baby early was becoming my reality an there was nothing i could do to stop it! zach tried to calm me down an called his parents, sister an brother while i called my dad to let him know. we finally got moved over to a delivery room got all hooked up to the monitors an started getting fluids ad medicine pumped through my iv to try an stabilize my blood pressure. by that time my mother in law an sister in law were there. the doctor that was on call came by an told us that it’s going to be a process to get him here.
