This man was an in utero survivor, which meant that his mum was pregnant with him when the bomb hit and she walked into the city as the radiation was high, making her extremely ill and passing on the effects of it to him. he has been coming to this spot every day for many years to tell people the realities of the day and the secrets that both the japanese government and the world have been hiding from their history books. there were 2 things that really angered me from the many things he spoke about: 1. the japanese government recently campaigned for america to keep their nuclear weapons because if america doesn't have theirs, how will they protect japan? 2. as obama was giving a speech on peace and rememberence for those that died, in the hiroshima peace park, he was carrying with him a suitcase that contained a button, which if pressed, would notify the american government to launch a nuke. here's this guy, talking about how hiroshima was a disaster, yet the hypocrite was carrying a case ready to set off more nukes. we were so lucky to have met this guy, to give us such a detailed account of this piece of history. i'll never forget this day for it.
