It’s absolutely true i love #storytimesnacks both as a fun way of making #storytime extra special and also as a little way to treat myself #mumtime ☺️. #kidsbooks or #adultreads i’m not fussy 😆
the creative bernadette from @goodiegoodielunchbox contributed this fantastic feelings cookies recipe (pictured above) for our big emotions boxes and gosh have they been popular! .
talk about the perfect #bookish snack and #bookishplay activity 🙌🏻😍. our little readers were able to read about different feelings, make cookies depicting different emotions and then snack on them whilst reading! #mykindoffun .
i am absolutely in love with this picture showing the feelings cookies and the books included in our little hands big emotions box from @ourfamilyinsquares 😍😍
Not quite so fancy as last night’s dinner, but it’s definitely a great way to celebrate being back home with the kids! spelt flatbreads with coconut yoghurt and rosemary, corn, sausages and a little sugar snap pea salad 🥗. i love fire pits. and dessert? marshmallows of course! 1 more week of school before holidays- we can do it!!!
Over the past couple of weeks i have been working on a new meal planning system to better meet our needs so there is more time to enjoy the things we love - play!! 💃🏻🌱
meal rotation for the win-much like our toy rotation system here at hq 😳

👆🏻sunday baked treats-oat choc chip cookies 🍪following the recipe from @mylovelylittlelunchbox-a great site for busy mummas on the hunt for simple healthy cooking. #weekendbaking#celebrateplay#celebrateplay_tips
A little bit of chocolate on top of my morning muffins goes a long way. these muffins have lots of nutritional goodies: spelt flour, bananas, some @seedspreads, cinnamon, 1 egg (i’m trying to cut back the egg in this recipe and make these as close to vegan as possible!). the kids love having chocolate chips 🍪 as a topping for these muffins and i love having smiley kids that enjoy having breakfast before going off to school. here’s to a balanced lifestyle...🍫🍌
This was so fun to make with my 4.5yr old! 🤗
📍love this play dough recipe, lasts really well (6+months), soft but not sticky, and the lime essential oil added in is just a bonus! 😍🙌✨🍈
you could add any eo's you like i just added 4-6 drops to the below recipe as i kneaded the color in. we are using up the end of our icky food coloring so we can make room for some natural colors 👍😉
