Last week i had the true pleasure of participating in a collaborative blogging adventure with 19 other amazing designer/bloggers. each of us accepted the challenge to create a unique thanksgiving tablescape, and boy--did this group raise the bar! in case you missed it, you can catch the round up of the entire week using the link in my profile.
i was so impressed with all of the talent in this blogging tour and showing you everything they created, that i kinda forgot to share a pic of my own table! 😂 so, here it is!
i know everyone is itchy for christmas decor right now, but here at the farmhouse, we're slowing down to enjoy everything this season is about, and while i might be planning my christmas decor, it's still pumpkins, pinecones, and fall floral around here for a bit longer.
how about you? have you started decorating for christmas, or are you (like me!) sticking with fall for now?
This is an imperfect tabletop. but it’s our family’s kitchen table. this table has been through it all with our family, it is stained with nail polish, paints, glues and glitter. it is not smooth anymore and it’s actually kind of sticky most of the time even when freshly cleaned. my family has celebrated many, many birthdays and celebrations around it and has had some very sad times too. if this table could talk..... i love all the memories our table holds and so looking forward to a future full of many more. #familytable#memories#togetherness#imperfect#likeus
Woah! talk about a rough day ....
