One of the most rewarding things i get to do with a client is to work side by side with them in the kitchen. whether it’s teaching basic survival skills in the kitchen, transitioning to a plant-based diet, managing specific dietary needs, or teaching a specific set of skills, seeing a client smile and laugh and walk away more confident is incredible. i truly believe that cooking is a life skill that we all need.
• @dhwilson2009 and i recorded a super fun podcast about cooking that’ll come to you soon on the southern fried girlfriends #podcast. on that episode, we share how we started cooking, what inspires us now, and some of our favorite stories from the kitchen. you won’t want to miss it!
have you ever taken a private cooking lesson? would you? if so, what would you want to learn?

You say 🍅? this is the perfect time of summer to indulge in all the tomato recipes. this recipe was one of my favorites from cooking school many moons ago: tomatoes, chilies, green onions, garlic, turmeric and other spices. it’s the perfect tangy side to simple grilled chicken or fish, but be sure to serve it with rice or cous cous to soak up the super flavorful juices. 🍅🍅🍅 today’s post is a recipe collaboration with a huge group of talented chefs and bakers. be sure to follow #wesaytomatoes to get all the tasty tomato recipes.
