i didn’t feel like working out, yet somehow i ended up totally kicking my own ass. that ever happen to you?

✨went into the gym with the attitude that i’ll just do a little bit, get creative, and have fun! .
and today i’m waking up with buns, back, and shoulders screaming with soreness! (good screams πŸ˜†)love it!

i only did 2 sets of each exercise, each set to fatigue πŸ₯΅...plus some banded b***y work (not pictured). took about 40 minutes - short and sweet!

moral of the story: πŸ₯‡have more fun! πŸ₯ˆchange your mindset around what working out has to be.πŸ₯‰ then you’ll find infinite reserves of strength within you to get the job done!...and still have fun.

chicken and chorizo jambalaya- a new fave!
chilli con carne
mini egg muffins- because eggs on their own is just boring now!
90 minutes tops this took, and a lot of that was “leave to simmer” time so i could watch the footy! πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ’ͺ
felt like one of life’s winners! haha

Hit the gym today! woohoo! πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ’πŸ»‍♀️ lately, it’s just been physical therapy, foam rolling/stretching and a few classes here and there. i finished my 3rd week of being on the keto diet and feeling great! i am working on balancing my hormones (based on my bloodwork w/the doc). i still never got the keto flu, but i felt some other symptoms like calf cramps in the middle of the night ugh (+bathroom issuesπŸ˜†πŸ€¦πŸ»‍♀️... upped the probiotic game haha ok tmi) but hey everyone πŸ’©s right?! sorry, real talk... other than that, i do miss carby veggies like sweet potatoes, but gonna keep this keto thing going until thanksgiving, get back on it and cycle carbs/keto. that is my goal anyways... to be fat-adapted! the holidays are going to be a struggle! also, i can tell i have deflated 😜 yes that’s how i call it. now, off to enjoying my 3-day weekend!!! #girlswholift #keto #burnbabyburn #saturdaze #goofball
