I <3 plants - yes i do! used a lot of leftover veggies i had from making pizza yesterday. i have a whole wheat bulgur + mixed greens + arugula base, sliced cherry tomatoes, chopped bell peppers, raw pumpkin seeds, shredded chicken, and homemade guac (add 1 avocado, tsp chopped onion, 1 lime- juiced, handful of cilantro, and pinch of salt and pepper to taste. mash a few times using a potato masher and dig in!) πŸ€—

Smoothie bowls!
these are great post-workout and also when craving a sweet treat.
i have pictured the brands of what i use, and are obviously my favorite as far as clean minimal ingredients and great taste.
see other post about how i freeze items for smoothies!❀️ peanutbutter-chocolate-banana:
2- cubes of frozen plain yogurt (around a heaping tbs each)
1- handful of frozen spinach
1- frozen banana
5- ice cubes
1- scoop chocolate whey
1 tbs- pbfit chocolate peanutbutter powder
add almond milk, coconut milk or regular milk to consistency
favorite toppings

add all items to blender and blend until mixed. use rubber scraper or blender stick to help push it to the bottom as it blends. add small splashes of milk so it will mix. be careful not to add too much milk or it will turn out too runny. it should be thick like soft serve ice cream.
top with favorite toppings-
(go easy on things like nuts & granola. they quickly add a lot of calories)
nuts
chia seeds
pepitas
fruit
granola
healthy cereal
toasted coconut
pina colada green smoothie:
1-scoop vanilla whey
1-handful of frozen spinach
1/2 cup- frozen pineapple
1/2 cup- frozen mango
1/2- frozen banana

Ok, so for dinner out at smokey bones, i opted to build my own burger. grilled chicken b****t on a lettuce "bun" with sauteed onions, tomato, pickles, red onions, and grilled pineapple. super delish and i'm calling it 3sp for any oil they used to saute the onions and may have brushed on the chicken. i also had a side salad with half the serving of dressing they brought. app says a whole serving of light bacon vinaigrette is 3sp, so i'll say 2 for what i ate. and then i picked on a few tortilla chips they brought to make up for the long wait. let's call that 2sp. 8sp isn't bad at all. i'm feeling good about how this day ended.

Just about every day this summer, as we head out for some sort of adventure, i grab my @g2gbar and a big ole’ water. i keep my bars refrigerated at home, and throw it in the dashboard of my car so it gets chewy and yummy. or throw it in my purse to eat a little later on, no one likes a hangry becca. .

Today's a crazy day for @i_am_not_seth_rogen and me! a surprise 30th bday party for my sister in law this afternoon and a friend's bday dinner tonight. i've been hoarding rollies so i walked into the day with 36 weeklies. after breakfast, i had 16 dailies too. here's my lunch and our shared dessert. my dad was running the grill, so i brought chicken sausage, and then two slices of the @wwpounddropper mint oreo chocolate cheesecake so we had a good choice during dessert. also so that we could split that s'mores brownie fairly guiltlessly. it's called balance.

I have one main food rule: there’s virtually always something green in my bowl (yes i eat almost exclusively from bowls to make chasing vegetables easier πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)
