i have a b.a. degree in music industry business, marketing and merchandising. i worked in the music industry for all of my 20's and it was just amazing!!! πŸŽ΅πŸŽ™πŸŽ§πŸŽ·πŸŽ€πŸŽ΅πŸŽΉπŸŽΊπŸŽ»πŸŽ€β€ music is my very first love, hence my cheeky handle aka ig name. πŸ˜‚
my biggest weight was 218. about 8 years ago. then through terrible depression due to a an abusive relationship that lasted about 3 years i lost about 20lbs. i also learned alot about myself and the choices i made. the process of forgiving myself was long, painful and arduous. but i was becoming happier. i gained back 10lbs and at 208 i started trying every diet. i began running and soon learned it was something i truly loved. i can't live without it now! πŸƒ‍♀️ keto kept coming up through my research and i decided to try it. gamechanger πŸ’₯
i am now 168 on my best day lol. fluctuating between 168 and 172lbs. i have actually hit a plateau and am currently trying to kick my b***y back in gear and lose the rest of my weight to reach my goal of 140lbs. i need to start strength training as much as i'm dreading it, it has to be done (any pointers welcomed! πŸ€—)

Drop sets/ s***p sets

this is a resistance training system, an example of a drop set would be benching 80kg for 10 then stripping it to 70 then repping that out for 10 and then stripping that to 60 and repping out another 10. the key point to remember is that you must not rest more then 20-30 seconds between drops which will probably be as-long as it takes for you to s***p the weight.

usually you perform 3 drops per set but this is adaptable to your beliefs and preferences. you will also feel a burning sensation in the muscle group you are working, this may be uncomfortable but keep pushing through it as this is the blood filling up your muscles(unless it becomes painful obviously as this may be an injury rather then the blood filling your muscles). drop sets are usually performed best with a training partner or on a pin and rack loaded machine as this way dropping the weight is quick and easy.
the other method is doing each drop till failure then dropping the weight and repeating this process for as many drops as you can/want. the first few vids are with a standard grip width then i go into some narrow grip bench for a bit more of a burn on the tricepsπŸ€ͺ

the 4 way split allows for more of a deviation then the other splits i’ve spoken about.

this method usually groups a major muscle group with 1 or 2 smaller ones for example back, biceps and abs. you can pick the muscle groups you want to train together as thats all down to personal preference.
