It's a whole new world i'm entering, splitboarding. learning how to glide and skinning up, how to use a pole, how to approach a chute, etc. there's so much to learn and explore. it's a tough, intense and tiring activity. but the solitude in the wilderness is what gets me.
also super excited to be teaming up with @backcountry for my splitboard missions this spring and summer!
any splitboard tips and tricks is greatly appreciated

I didn't see one person while on these dreamy trails. don't even get me started on the post-run leg soak in the lake. #trailmagic#newfavorite#travelok (trails are in the natural scenic area nearby the sp, but feel free to never go there so it will always be empty when i arrive.)
First e. sierra backcountry expedition, 10hrs total of skinning up and riding back down. midway from wine glass couloir, we decided to turn around due to avy debris and it being unstable. the boys had their eye on one of the mcgee chutes. got up to 9,173ft with about 2750ft elevation gain. these boys sure know how to set the bar on my first bc experience. @arborsnowboards@arborgirls@eivy@ltdoptics@splitboard_com pc: @johnheiss24
