sé constante, prueba e intenta cada día un poco de meditación. puedes empezar por 15 o 20 minutos. te darás cuenta que poco a poco lo irás incorporando a tus hábitos de vida y notarás sus resultados. además, meditar te ayudará a desarrollar el aprendizaje de la paciencia y la concentración para tu rutina y saborearás la quietud como parte de tu ser.

I used to believe that once i found balance in my life i would be able to maintain it. almost like discovering a favorite recipe that would allow me to recreate my favorite dish again and again. what i have come to realize is that we all fall in and out of balance numerous times throughout our day. there is no recipe for creating balance, but being present in the moment allows me to make adjustments to my thoughts. the way i perceive what is happening either gives me a sense of peace and balance or it triggers something in me that needs my attention. it’s a process that is never ending and not a destination. it’s learning to ride the waves with grace and compassion. interested in creating more balance in your life? feel free to contact me and let’s talk!

Self-acceptance is accepting all the stellar and not-so-stellar parts of yourself. or, what you view as your “positive” and “negative” traits. careful with the labels. others might view things differently.

self-acceptance includes believing in yourself and your intrinsic self-worth so you can insulate yourself from criticism. s**t just got hard.

we are so polarised as a society, labeling things “good” and “bad”. who are we to tell someone if their experience is valid or not? or dangerously, who they are is valid or not?

if you feel negatively about yourself, the brain regions and brainstem that help you control emotion, stress and anxiety have less gray matter than someone with more self-confidence. these regions literally have “less to work with” which means more difficulty regulating these emotions.
