One thing i’ve kept up fairly well since dewey was born is waking up earlier than him. some mornings it happens, others not so much. today we woke up at the same time and instead of being upset i didn’t get up earlier, i gave myself grace and was extremely grateful for the cuddles he wanted to give me.
i love routines and patterns but i also know that time is precious. the mornings he wants to do this with me are numbered and slowly fading away.
it’s important to build your day around things that you love. every moment of every day is filled with choices that are up to you.
i’m so excited to help the momma’s joining our virtual september bootcamp -- we are going to work on getting our “me-time” in and crush our mornings. i know these ladies will help me stop pressing the dang snooze button! waking up earlier has transformed every area of my life for the better and i can’t wait for these ladies to reap the benefits as well.
want to join? i’m here to answer your questions! ✨
“for you have been called to live in freedom—not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love. for the whole law can be summed up in this one command: ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”
father god, today, a child may need my ear, a senior citizen may need my hand, a stranger may need my smile, and a neighbor may need my hugs. whatever is needed of me, let me be open to it. amen
Morning prayers are kept simple. i wash her off with water, i wash myself off with water (arms, forehead, feet, face, ears and hands). after placing her in the altar spot that's when the prayers begin. i also have full blown conversations with her as though she were in physical form. this helps to build a relationship with deities the same way you would with a potential friend. however, if it makes you feel weird then slow it down and simply pray💪🙏🏼 #afriwiccan#religion#morningprayers#buildingrelationships#paganism#polytheism#wicca#ancientegypt#creatingpeace
