My first ever corporate party in london, england and it was awesome. the british don't play: top-notch dj gear, dope sound system, prompt payment, the event started and finished on time 😳😳😳 and most of all, i played soulful house all evening long. yup, soulful house!
it was not a dancing party as it was a networking and launch event but some people had a passionate affair with the improvised dancefloor.
and to top it all? someone in the team asked me if i would be interested in spinning at their other launches in various cities around the world.
so gig one out of the three that i have in london went well. all praises to the almighty of course for blessing me with these opportunities, people to offer them to me and a talent to execute them in ways that have people handing me business cards.
and of course thanks to childhood friend nagawa for making it happen. how? well, i friended her because of her little sister. this little sister has friend who is friends with @cre55ida. this londoner knows someone at the company and she suggested my name as they were looking for dj for their london launch. (are you happy now nagawa? i credited you proper lol). don't forget, the big party is this saturday 25th in london. at this stage, good luck getting tickets. if you did not claim yours, hope that someone cancels their spot. the venue is limited to 250 deep & dope people only.
