Hello friends! i am currently stuck under a sleeping child 🤷♀️ so i will fill you in on our day.
i don’t know if you can see in the background but i have my slow cooker on. it’s brewing up a delicious chicken bone broth. bone broth is full of minerals, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc (it’s a powerhouse) if you haven’t made bone broth yet, i highly recommend it!! i have a post on it if you can find it 😆
so this is my lunch 👉🏻 2 eggs and a huge pile of kale with turmeric salt and pepper. oh and trying to hold a cast iron skillet without losing your lunch is definitely harder than you think.
today is also a very special day.... joe (my hubby) and i are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary 💗 we’re going for a fancy dancy dinner so i have to pop off this mom uniform and put on some nice (pre kids) clothes, maybe even heels 👠 eeeeeek!!

baked potatoes are such a warming winter comfort food, aren’t they? i love a baked sweet potato with tuna & sweetcorn.
i’m having it with a bowl of salad but it has to be on separate plates as i don’t like the salad getting warm especially if i have baked beans.... am i weird or is this normal? ✖️✖️✖️
