I had my first lift in the new gym tonight which consisted mostly of back with a little hiit sesh on the rower.
i usually find myself in slight funk any time i start lifting in a new environment - new people, new energy, new equipment, new approach. it can definitely be a good thing, and i think it will be in this case. i just need a good run through of all my muscle groups to find my flow👌🏼 that'll be this week!

So! i have a confession to all my clients who i have made do this exercise! weighted step ups. .
i’ve never actually done them 🙄. .
this was my first real attempt with 16kg kettlebells. it’s actually really hard isn’t it 🤷♂️#fwx

i remember hearing a great saying and it was that if you ever fall down in life, make sure you fall on your back because if you can look up, you can get up 😊 i loved that because you do have two options .. you can let the knock backs overpower you and control you, you can let failure be a cause to quit something too early. we are all going to fail many times in our lives unless we live so cautiously that we haven’t really lived at all. option 2 would be to take those knockdowns and come out fighting in the next round .. remember failure = feedback 👌
take what happened and learn from it so you don’t make the same mistakes again and again. every day is a school day, keep learning when you get knocked down which will happen from time to time but believe that things will get better and get up, dust yourself down and go again 😊🙌🙌🙌 have a great week guys
