Day 190: no internet.
during the whole day, for days.
if we can't admit that we are addicted to our phones, laptops and social media and technology in general (yes i mean most of us), at least at some degree, than we are up for trouble.
the first step of progress is awareness, always.
i'm grateful i choose to not get access to wifi while abroad, during the whole time i was outside.
it's a whole new world.
like any addiction there's withdrawal symptoms whenever you don't have what to do but, once you get past that you experience the world around you differently.
you observe more people and situations ( good and bad), you listen more, reflect more, engage more.
