deets: 1 cup almond milk, 2 tbs @lovemysilk almond pumpkin spice creamer, 1/4 cup @traderjoes pumpkin puree, 1 frozen banana, 2 dates, 2 tbs @pbfit.official peanut butter powder, 1 tbs cacao, 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice. blend up and top with honey, more pb, mini @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips and h**p hearts ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’› .

How to stop overthinking ๐Ÿ›‘ ๐Ÿ’ญ .

we all do it.
.
sometimes we even let it become overwhelming to the point where it feels like we are trapped in our own thoughts, am i right๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ?
.
i find myself doing most of my overthinking when i am not doing anything productive. once i start, it feels like i just keep getting deeper and deeper into my thoughts, and it can be very hard to stop! here are some tips that i find helpful when i face these type of feelings:
.
1๏ธโƒฃdon't use your phone as a distraction: you think its helping distract your mind but its actually doing the complete opposite.
.
2๏ธโƒฃtalk back to yourself: listen to your thoughts and rationalize why they are occuring. consider if they are really worth the stress or if there is a way you could fix it, because there most likely is!
.
3๏ธโƒฃjournal: this is life changing. write down your thoughts, plan out your next steps, draw.. this really helps bring you back to the present moment.
.
4๏ธโƒฃfind something to listen to! i love listening to podcasts (business, motivation & self growth) and watching youtube videos (fitness) to keep myself motivated and focused.
.
5๏ธโƒฃget up early and just start your day! - the worst thing you can do is stay in bed dwelling over how much you’ve been overthinking. all you will achieve is bring more negative thoughts into your head. instead, get up and make it a good day!
.

para que?- para preparar mi cuerpo ante el cambio de estación.

ahora es ese tiempo en el que tanta gente te dice que esta cansada, desmotivada, sin energía, etc. y es que no nos damos cuenta de que todo a nuestro alrededor está cambiando: la temperatura, la luz, los alimentos de temporada... y nosotros también!

Found this old picture from when i used to do a lot of coffee research @roseparkroasters (my research included taste testing ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜). during my extensive research on "coffee and health" i found that once confounding lifestyle factors were controlled for, coffee drinkers showed a decrease in all-cause mortality. now i'm not saying go out there and start drinking coffee til there's no tomorrow, like all things, there's a limit to the benefit. these benefits were shown with drinking roughly up to 3-4 cups/day(i've also seen a few researchers showing up to 6 cups/day). also, the benefits were shown in individuals who already regularly drink coffee, so if you don't drink coffee as of now, it wouldn't be as beneficial for you to start pounding 3 cups a day!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ maybe start with just 1/2 a cup and see if you even like it? :) what's your favorite way of having coffee? #roseparkroasters #farmtocup #specialtycoffeeassociation #coffeeresearch
