raw kiwi fruit nachos by @cookrepublic⠀
10 green kiwifruit⠀
1 small red onion, finely chopped⠀
1 tomato, deseeded and finely diced⠀
3 asparagus stalks, finely chopped⠀
handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped⠀
juice of 1 small lime⠀
1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes⠀
1 teaspoon smoked paprika⠀
6-8 corn chips, crushed⠀
micro herbs, to serve⠀
peel kiwifruit and cut each into 5 thick slices.⠀
arrange kiwifruit slices on a large serving platter.⠀
prepare salsa by mixing onion, tomato, asparagus, coriander, lime and salt in a medium bowl.⠀
scatter salsa over the kiwifruit slices.⠀
sprinkle smoked paprika and crushed corn chips. garnish with micro herbs and serve immediately with extra lime wedges.⠀

One of the most frequently asked questions is how to determine which oils are safe for internal use.
first of all, i can only recommend ingesting doterra essential oils, as these oils contain only aromatic compounds from the source, and do not contain any contaminants or other harmful compounds. doterra created a standard named cptg (certified pure therapeutic grade), and in doing so, raised the bar on what has been an ungoverned industry. their oils are examined by third-party testers, so we can be assured that every bottle marked “pure” really is, in fact, 100% pure.
now, here’s the simple way to determine whether the oil you reach for is safe for internal use. on the back of every bottle, you will see either an ingredients list or supplement facts. if it lists ingredients, this oil is not suitable for ingesting. if it has supplements, the oil is safe and effective when used internally.
keep in mind that the fda recognizes the oils in the “supplement” category as gras, meaning generally regarded as safe. so when you use these oils properly, you can be confident in their safety. as always, do your research and use your own judgement regarding internal use of any oil, and always consult your medical practitioner if in doubt.
one word of caution: never, ever buy essential oils from amazon, walmart, ebay, or other similar stores. doterra does not sanction the sale of their oils in these stores, so if you see doterra oils for sale, they are not the real deal. it is easy to tamper with these bottles, so purchasing from an unknown source can be dangerous.

This is a delicious side dish and a great source of polyphenols (reduce inflammation, boost heart health and inhibit b****t cancer), sulforaphane (blocking free radicals from damaging cells), and sphingolipids(keeping your skin strong, vibrant and hydrated. help with brain function and regulate neurotransmitters). honey roasted cruciferous veggies
2 cups halved brussels sprouts
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 cup chopped cauliflower
2 teaspoons raw honey
4 tablespoons tea seed oil
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
Purification! this little bottle packs a powerful punch! 🤛 it cleanses and disinfects the air and neutralizes odors. i personally don’t often diffuse it because it is strong, but when i do, i only need to diffuse it for a short while for it to do its job! it is also one of the oils i keep with me when i travel! ✈️🚆🛳 it can be applied directly on the skin to clear up blemishes! a drop or two overnight directly on the spot(s) will do!
i also add about 16 drops and two ounces of witch hazel to a glass spray bottle and spray on liberally to keep the bugs and pests away!
it also helps to sterilize wounds and cuts!
This is a favorite breakfast for our family. it was on constant rotation when we were keto. grain free, super low carb and so good!
1 cup almond flour
1/4 tsp celtic sea salt
1 tsp baking powder
4 egg whites
2 tbs very cold organic butter (cut into pieces)
preheat oven to 400 degrees f. grease a cookie sheet or top with parchment paper. whip egg whites until very fluffy. in a separate medium bowl, mix the baking powder into the almond flour. then cut in the butter and salt (if the butter isn’t chilled, the biscuits don’t turn out). gently fold in the dry mixture into the whites. dollop the dough onto the cookie sheet (or muffin tin) and bake for 11-15 minutes. makes 8 servings.
10 oz ground sausage
1 cup cream cheese
1 cup bone broth
himalayan salt and ground black pepper to taste
cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently. gradually add cream cheese and broth; cook until mixture comes to a soft simmer and thickens, stirring constantly until smooth. reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly. season to taste with salt and pepper. split biscuits in half. place 2 halves on each of 8 plates; top with about 1/3 cup gravy. makes 8 servings.

Now that i am also sensitive to gluten i still didn’t want to abstain from eating granola for breakfast every once in a while. unfortunately, they don’t have gluten-free granola at the grocery stores where i live and whenever i bought it online it cost me about $5 per serving which i think is ridiculously overpriced!!! plus i found only gluten-free granola with raisins in 👎🏿
in fact, i attempted to make my own gluten-free granola at home - without raisins 🙋🏽♀️ well it’s nothing super fancy but most days i prefer the basics anyway: i chopped up a handful of dates, mixed them with gluten-free oats and coconut crisps. then i fried it all up using coconut nut oil and sautéed it with some honey 🍯 next time though i will probably try and add some goji berries and dates to get this crumble effect... why don’t you give this recipe a try if you are tired of buying overpriced granola while you still having to pick the raisins out. -
