crystal katana vs crystal katana replica (2 times cheaper than original)
we’re often asked what we use to glue our tiny crystals on our frames.
for the last 1-2 years i have personally used the crystal katana (original one, bought quite dearly from a swarovski supplier website). i think it was like £28, p&p not included.
until last week that is!
my katana was not sticking to the crystals anymore so i decided to check for the head replacement . the head is £10😬. i looked for an alternative and found the katana lookalike and decided to give it a go. at £7.19, p&p included on ebay, i thought why not?
but you know what? original is always best!!
although that lookalike is quite good and doesn’t leave residue on the crystals like the white wax pens do, you’ll find that you have to nudge it a bit in order to release the crystal on the glue dots😬
not ideal when you have 50 odd crystals to glue on in one go!
so lookalike vs katana:::::
katana definitely is a winner
hope that information will help our fellow crafters😘#katana#crystalkatana#originalisbest
Was looking at my album for a pic to post here and i ws like wtf..what sort of a nonsense pic is this?? eww...
i then figured out its not always about sense you see...and not always about regularity...its abt breaking the norms
After & before: swipe to see the before! the new white tanks have always bothered me but they were part of the package when we bought this old girl 3 yrs ago- as much as i hope/wish for aluminum tanks, they work fine and after nerdily researching the best metallic silver paint, it’s an improvement! not aluminum but blends so much better! and changed the hitch color and sanded the rust while we were at it!! 💚🤘
