Sometimes it is not the endo of the travel what makes us happy, it is the travel itself.

In my lifetime i’ve witnessed modern education tear our identities, aspirations, and traditions down to nothing. we are clever enough to deconstruct every part of our life into meaninglessness. this is a sad achievement. this achievement has not only harmed our wellbeing, but our bank account. strangely, as meaning went down, the price tag went up.
“knowledge is power” once said our educational institutions. now, knowledge is potentially oppressive and harmful. for our safety, it surely must be censored, we are told.
each year, so many of us leave with a bachelor’s in life has no meaning and a minor in i am a victim – and a couple decades of debt.
i have no idea how to fix this, but i do know what i’m going to do – flood the world with good ideas.
i want to spend my life talking about great ideas and laboring to communicate these ideas with as many people as possible. below is every podcast episode i’ve ever published. rather than complaining and protesting, i’m going to create.
we are meant to think and live well. to do that, we need an arsenal of ideas. and while accreditation is expensive, education is free. check out my website for more. nearly 100 hours of published philosophy, political, and educational content. all available for free, forever. join me, and let’s build an arsenal of good ideas.

By nature, we often only thrive after we are pushed beyond our limits. we get stronger when we are strained and break barriers when we dare to look beyond them.
the comfort zone isn't where growth happens but staying within it doesn't always feel like a choice. as social animals, we're sensitive to how our environment views us and assimilate our identities and actions accordingly, sometimes without being aware of it. the status-quo often seems to signal to us that reality is static and our identities should be too.
that's natural. our brains are wired to be skeptic towards things that conflict with its current model of the world. but that doesn't mean it's not malleable. reality isn't static and neither is identity. as we follow the arrow of time and experience, we all grow in various ways, and throughout this process, so does our concept of who we are.
the extent to which this growth can happen tracks back to how much we space we subconsciously feel we we are able and are allowed to have to expand our identities, which tracks back to our environment and the people within in: you and me.
expect more of yourself and the people in your life, in an optimistic way. see their growth before it has been actualized. you'll stand surprised at how often they and you will rise up to the challenge. we are far more resilient and flexible than we tend to think.
Great examples of how if you break things down to basics, back to our true nature, you can make huge gains in performance. not only is it a great story, it also has so many great bits of useful, and after you really think about it common sense advise. plus, you get to learn about pankration, if you haven't heard of it look it up.

The teachings of marx - 4: what are the production conditions?
we already know: not only machines, but also people work together under the leadership of a powerful capitalist on the production of a product. well, the machines are stubborn, not living creatures, but the workers are. that‘s clear, and that‘s is precisely why they contribute something to the production process: working one another.
thus, a capable production has a prerequisite that workers stand in exchange of activities and cooperate as a complex. this happens, comrades, never lose sight of our industry today, to an enormous extent. in other words, there are production facilities with thousands of workers. if an entire social class is now occupied with such gigantic production facilities, what happens, what one of the cleverest german philosophers, namely marx, recognized: that the production conditions themselves make up society. this does not affect our society, because at different stages of development different production costs prevailed, which in the past, for example, produced antiquity or feudal society. for marx it‘s clear that the new goods of a production play a decisive role in the „character“ of a society, which is „whipped“ by a capitalist through the „playing field of history“ by the constant development of materials means of production.
