Snails day at the beach! sunday 23 september 2018 little snail all alone on the beach at centennial, boundary bay! how did he get there? where does he think he’s going? don’t the sand grains hurt his body? doesn’t the salty sea water make him pucker? so i gently picked him up and carried him up the beach to the grass and shrubs put him under a bramble berry bush. (which i might add are full of finches, yellow throats, golden and white crowned sparrows - so many lovely little birds are back!! wonderful!! i hope they don’t eat my little snail!) i think i’ll call him sandy.
finally after what felt like years, this weekend i was able to get outside and explore new places. we are so lucky to be able to hop onto ferries and be on another island. fall is sure in full swing🍂 the changing colours, the brisk air.
it was wonderful and being able to spend this quality time with @justagirlandhergsdkayzie was everything i needed. looking forward to our next adventures soon! ✨
