Trends... like seasons of the year, they are changing but at that same time are staying the same. like a wind... if you are living in the uk, ....wind 💨 is a factor, which just exist each season. regardless if you are thinking of summer, winter or spring. coats, jackets, dresses, denim, tops are showing up all year long.... so what is the difference? of course patterns, material, the inspiration from 70s or 90s. and the most important factor: colour. it’s all about a creating a collection, which will be inspired by landscapes, destinations and different cultures. taking what’s the best and turning it into paper and than following the process of productions.
next month it will be one big surprise, like our climate... i’m curious about new collections spring/sumer 2019.
i can say for sure, we will see pastel colours on runways... just because it’s normal or we’ve got used to it subconsciously? i would like to see more shades of blue, maybe because i’m in love with sea. i would like to see a combination blue with green together. i would leave pink in silence and give it a try during next season because our last season was perceived as red - pink experiment. it would be my dream to see, wait a minute... - gold as a spring colour and silver, made from very good materials, to give a comfortable feeling and let the sun shining. it’s like our lovely highlighter worn as a top :-) why not? why should we use these colours during winter time, when it’s time for christmas time. i’m definitely rule breaker. i’m having one very important message to share with you guys: wear what you want to wear. how and where... in which kind of circumstances. honestly, i’m wearing black and white all year long so designers for sure won’t disappoint us because it’s a classic, a necessity!
and ... more creativity please... i was reading last time a critical words about matrix collection and i totally have an opposite point of view because guys look.. we have 21.century. some people love vintage, routine etc. i respect it. it’s like with people- some are introverts and some extroverts. we shouldn’t expect that all people will fall in love with new experiments on the catwalks. #ss19
