Rose, calendula and cornflower petals. some of my favorites!
💖 rose is nourishing and represents love and beauty. promotes confidence, self love, and reduces anxiety. improves skin hydration and prevents premature aging 💖💕
💛 calendula the gentle healer. speed ups healing of difficult to treat skin damage while also being gentle enough for newborns! shows us that you can be both strong and kind.
💙 cornflowers are calming and all about clarity. named after a greek goddess and a mythical centaur who thought mankind the healing power of herbs. used to clear away infections and reduce inflammation. a cooling, soothing, and simply gorgeous blue flower! .
Seed starting is right around the corner for most of us here in maine. spending this gray sunday going through some garden designs and seed inventory. found myself loving on this one quite a bit. it’s easily grown and harvested, a great companion for other plants, and helps keep pest away. its stunning all season as it will bloom well into late fall. used in most of my oils and skin salves... but it is also great in teas, salads, herbal baths, steams, etc. it's the beautiful and divine #calendulaofficinalis (also known as #potmarigold )
calendula is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and is among the strongest of antiviral herbs. oooh, i'm beyond excited to start sowing some earth magic. 🍃🌱🌼🌻🌺
