les gens sont forts dans les faux semblant. mais tu ne peux pas faire du bien et du moins bien, sur la distance tu titubes et puis un coup bim, je te vois. ne te fatigue plus,...

i was chatting with my bff last night and she mentioned how she’s witnessing her mom neglect herself to take care of her household, husband, and job.. that physically and mentally her mom is worn out..
i thought as she talked, omg that’s me too 😩 minus the husband part 😂i have no energy to even wash the dishes, or get my brows or hair done.. i haven’t cooked in a month 🤦🏾♀️
it’s time for a “staycation “ because i have to reset and realign to get back on track!
☆ this week i made the choice to do less exercise ☆
i realised i was overexercising and although i didnt feel overly sore or fatigued, my heel was getting worse because i was overdoing it and mentally i was getting to a point of increased self-guilt if i didn't complete all the workouts i had set for myself at the beginning of the week.
i've gotten into a strong routine with exercise because of the amount of free time i have, and it has really helped me stay mentally positive, so it was hard to realise that it was actually beginning to impact me negatively - but i am so proud of myself for recognising that and doing something about it.

next week should bring some results for my heel 🤞 and im hoping to get away for a short trip with my partner, which will be a nice way to reset and set new goals and plans for myself. 🙌

“patience is a virtue” was my strategy and i dedicated time to movement, breathing and reflection.

in this clip elmo doesn’t just show good target focus but he also exhibits the ability to re-focus through executing his full pre-shot routine again once he has backed his intuition in choosing a different target through verbalizing his “new” target
feeling a shot and choosing a target are often easy to do but it can be hard to then not have “technical” thoughts over the ball. verbalizing the preferred outcome and target is a useful “bridge” between feel and outcome/target
feel free to use this drill anytime you are struggling to match your feel with outcome or target
