Just over 2 years ago i changed things in my life in an attempt to get healthier and to not support some food industries that i discovered some nasty things about (thanks to some documentaries on netflix). despite losing a bunch of weight (over 4st/25kg/50lbs) and feeling much healthier, and despite reading up a lot (and following advise of some great social media accounts, all tagged in pic), there was still a concern in the back of my mind about whether the to go vegan would somehow damage my body/mind long term.
i decided to get a blood test at the 2 year mark to put my mind at ease, and these are the results! apart from a slightly low (but not deficient) vitamin d (a tough one living in the uk) everything was in range and normal. no protein, calcium, iron or b13 deficiency! i assume that before making these changes i would have been out of range on some of these so i'm very happy all is well and received all the theory is standing tall!
test was very much worth doing! just need to move somewhere sunnier to catch up on my vit d! 😂🚴☀️
