Let me tell you a fun fact, which was actually not so fun the day it happened but now you'll enjoy reading about, i am sure. so here i was, on my first solo trip. after hiking until 1400m, then took the chairlift until 2000m because i was running out of time and wanted to actually spend a couple of hours on the plateau taking pictures, having something to eat, laying my a*s in the grass etc. so i was alone in the chairlift, super excited, photographing the landscape, listening to one of my favorite covers "daughter - get lucky" (i find it better than daft punk's original and daughter's voice is the most soothing one i've ever heard). then something happened. the music stopped all of the sudden. why? i'll give you few seconds to think about it. what happened? why the music stopped? oh well, my phone was at the back of my jeans and because i was so excited moving around to take photos... it dropped. it dropped when i was half way from 1400 to 2000 metres!!! here's where the adventure begins. i looked back and memorized a certain tree to know where i lost my phone. after 3 hours going down on the mountain, walking under the chairlift, going up again because the area was too sheer to go down that way, taking the normal trail that goes to 1400m... then i finally saw that tree! yay! but guess what? the tree was on top of an abrupt cliff. was walking from 8:30 am and now it was 3:00 pm. i was exhausted. my legs were literally shaking. i was about to give up when i said to myself, common andreea, you made it this far. you can't give up now! so i didn't. managed to climb that cliff, don't ask me how, it's too dramatic haha. anyway, once i was on top of the cliff and next to that tree, then started analyzing the photos on my camera to realize exactly where my phone dropped. i remember i was stepping into sun-dried grass that was actually same height as i am, it was a proper hell to look for your phone there, trust me. and the moment i said to myself that i have to accept the situation and move on, i finally saw it there. my phone!!! now i know how stubborn i am and that i never ever give up, at least not before doing my best in a situation. also, i can be a detective!🕴🔍
