Gone are the days where safaris are just about lavish trips to sumptuous lodges with white gloved service and exclusive access to breathtaking wildlife encounters, reports @condenasttraveller. major safari players are shifting to the large-scale protection of wild spaces, while recognizing that local communities must benefit as well. and it’s not just safaris that have changed - today’s travelers now look to help preserve and promote this tableau. while african parks’ core expertise is in the effective management of and the rewilding of protected areas, many of the parks under our management are also being recognized as prime safari destinations. through our critical partnerships with governments, we are able to manage, protect and restore these wild areas while ensuring surrounding communities benefit from their existence. in some cases this is through tourism, where we either build and operate lodges ourselves, or partner with well-respected tourism operators whose mission aligns with ours in protected africa’s wild places for people and wildlife. @akagerapark in rwanda is a prime example of this. managed in partnership with the rwanda development board, we offer numerous options for staying within the park, from ruzizi tented lodge, karenge bush camp, akagera game lodge and even camping. more recently, in partnership with @wearewilderness, the luxury magashi camp has opened, serving as one of five spectacular options for people to come and visit the park, and help support conservation and communities. to read the full article, click the link in our bio. 📷 @wearewilderness.#africanparks#condenast#rwanda#akagera#safari#conservation#community
I always enjoy photographing cubs of their i always enjoy photographing cubs of their age...!!! as this is the time they start getting inquisitive about their surroundings...!!! -
they will chase, jump over, bite and play fight with each other and all these actions sharpen their skills that will help them to survive in the wild when they grow up, get separated and establish their own territories...!!! -
