This is the intermittent fasting schedule that i stick to and it helped me lose the fat! it’s a 16 hour fast, with a 8 hour eating window each day. some things to keep in mind: •you can drink coffee, tea and water while in a fasted state; just keep in mind that you should keep your calories under 30 (i.e. my bcaas are no sugar and 0 calories)
•when you eat, stick to low carb foods
•once you get used to the fast try and limit your snacks during the eating period; just stick with 2-3 meals
•you are able to workout while doing this but give your body time to adjust first

Goodness, has god been teaching me this lately. it’s like i expected each day to be super productive and fulfilling, and that each day would be full of good work, family, healthy choices, relaxing and goodness without me having to make it so. i now realize how crazy i was 😅 balance doesn’t just happen to us. we have to make margin in our lives. it’s too easy to get busy and fill our schedules and plates until we feel like life is spinning out of control if we don’t create space for the things that aren’t already scheduled for us (work obligations, cooking, practice/games for the kids, etc).
a mentor challenged me to think about the 3 most significant things in my life, and to put those in my schedule first. and if that meant i had to eliminate other things for now, so be it. it’s okay to say “no” and “not now” to things less significant. in fact, we should say no if the most important things in our lives are on the back burner.
once the room is made for those significant things, i was challenged to hold myself to that schedule. and as i could, as life got more in balance, only then could i add some of those “no”s and “not now”s back in. but it’s important to stay keenly aware of your boundaries. if they start to slip, it’s important to start saying “no” again.
the bottom line is, our most important and significant things should not be what we reschedule for later, when life is less busy. we must make time for them and keep them scared. work on creating boundaries and balance today. life only gets more busy, friends 💕
