But ask the animals, and they will teach you; the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
who among all these does not know that the hand of the lord has done this?
in his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of every human being.
I've been studying isaiah in both the old testament and the book of mormon lately. i'll be honest: most of his words go right over my head. but over and over again he uses the phrase "his hand is stretched out still." ♥️
i love this image. no matter what i've done, or failed to do; no matter what i wish i could have done better, his hand is stretched out, reaching toward me. ♥️
not 'again'. not, 'he drew his hand back for a second when he saw the mistake you made.' but still.
he offers comfort and strength; help and hope.
i've been quiet here lately. i've got some big, exciting, scary projects in the works. i've had my head down, working hard in the midst of full family days. goals and dreams i've been thinking about and working toward for years are happening in the next couple of weeks. i'm terrified about taking this next step. equal parts excited to be moving forward and certain i will fail. but if i do, i know where to turn for peace.
his hand is stretched out still.
Mark your calendars local friends!! my next craft show will be november 10th in allison park, pa! in the meantime i will be working hard to bring lots of pendants with me to this awesome event! ❤️ (oh & come hungry because #foodtrucks!!) #narrowisthegatedesigns
Is god preparing this land for revival?

#god, in his sovereignty and eternal plans and purposes, has blessed #australia with a rich christian heritage.
“we will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. … then they would put their trust in god and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands” (#psalm 78:4,7) “at the name of #jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that jesus christ is lord, to the glory of god the father” (philippians 2:10-11). “what shall i render unto the lord for all his benefits toward me?” (psalm 116:12).
robert evans, australia's foremost expert on prayer and revival, has written an extensive range of books documenting revival which can be downloaded here: http://revivalsresearch.net/books.php
is god preparing this land for revival? even as convicts were coming to this nation, revival broke out on two convict ships, the earl grey and theresa... if god can save a shipload of convicts, surely, he can save our nation.
next year we celebrate national christian heritage sunday on 3 february. it will be the 231st anniversary of the first known christian service held on australian soil, which was conducted by the reverend richard johnson on the 3 february 1788.
remember, it was karl marx who believed that a people who don’t know their #history can easily be persuaded!
our heavenly father, australia has been richly blessed by your goodness and mercy. there is so much as a nation for which we need to give thanks to you. we reflect on our parliamentary democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and worship, our legal system and the independence of our courts of law. today may we pause and recognise the lord’s benefits to this nation and give you thanks for our christian heritage that has made #australia the great nation it is today.
When crisis hits, is your first reaction to fear? do you fear the worst possible outcome or start the negative cycles of “what ifs”? if this rings true to you, just know there are reasons why you react the way you do to situations. your past, your childhood most likely; they all play a huge role in how your respond to pressure and crisis. i want you to know today, you do not have to live a life of fear, overreactions, rage and lack of self control. none of those things come from god. all of those traits come from the enemy.
i encourage you to do the work, figure these things out, get some help, talk to someone who can work through these issues with you. don’t go another day crippled by your fears. and lastly, ask god to deliver you from these spirits that are destroying you, your families, your relationships and your relationship with jesus. you can change. anyone can change. you’re not too far gone for god’s forgiveness, you just need to be open to making that first step. i believe in you.
