Protection of water bodies in sikkim.
there is no disposal of anything whatsoever allowed throughout the state. no waste disposal, no sewage, no bathing with chemicals, no dumping.. commercial or residential. not only is this in practice, but even people in the remote villages of west sikkim are completely aware of the fact. people drink water from the streams directly... the realization thay this unparalleled phenomenon of our envoirment being a life giver is so worthy of protection, springs up each time i come across indigenous and local ecosystems like these.

Unexpected friendship is the best. i met my new architect friends when we shared a table in the oldest coffee shop at gangtok because all tables were already full. then we started to chat and later they invited me to join them to have a good local beer in one bar nearby. surely i was happy to join them, especially after having a long walk for more than 7 hours, i needed a good place to chill out. it was a really nice evening, we talked a lot, about the history of sikkim, traveling around india, woody allen, wes anderson, and a bit of murakami. ❤️💙💚 #friend#friendship#strangerbecomefriend#sikkim#eastsikkim#india#southasia
