As the name suggests this #biologiquerecherche mask is ✨m-a-g-i-c✨! we all know and love mask vivant, but how many of you are familiar with biomagic mask? it is amazing for pore tightening, lifting, and acne prone skin. *bonus: it is super effective without being stinky! here @danutamieloch uses a thin layer on its own, before #multimasking with creme masque biofixine for extra anti-aging power!
One of our favorite must-share skin tips: ☺️ some of our real life advice comes from our years of working with customers on their skin concerns. "good skin just doesn't happen. it does take work and some dedication; however it doesn't need to complicated. we listened to you and have created a product line that is simple to use and super effective! it's also #safe and #crueltyfree!" we know that if you use a good home care system daily and get professional facials (monthly is best if you're on a tight budget seasonally), you will see a change in your skin. 🌿 #jordanpetersenskincare#skincaretips
It's finally my turn to share some thoughts on the much hyped @avarellecosmetics acne patches*! most of you know how these work - they're a bandaid-type product with an adhesive backing you can stick on pimples. these are hypoallergenic & made with tea tree oil & calendula oil, which contain strong antiseptic & antibacterial properties (aka acne's worst nightmare). these patches are meant to be worn for an extended period of time, like overnight, but most of avarelle's patches can be worn during the day without being noticeable. the idea is that the patch "breaks down" the pimple & absorbs the oil/puss inside. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
my skin is a blessing & a curse (not proportionally - it's about 15% blessed & 85% cursed). my skin isn't very sensitive & i typically don't break out from certain ingredients or products - which is awesome - but i've struggled with reoccurring hormonal breakouts for about 11 years. my blemishes range from whiteheads to the dreaded under-the-surface "blind pimples". patches, regardless of brand, usually only work to eliminate whiteheads, though sometimes they help to sooth inflammation of the big red guys. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
my go-to were of course the @cosrx patches. the cosrx works about 50% of the time for me (by "worked", i mean the patch successfully ripped my pimple apart & got the gunk out, then closed the wound without new oil/puss forming). however, i think the avarelle patches have now become my favorite because, simply, i've had a higher rate of success. they work about 70-75% of the time. the adhesive sticks better on my oily skin than other brands, & the packaging makes it very easy to peel off each patch without worrying about them accidentally folding or wrinkling. the size variety is just more practical. lastly, they're slightly less painful to peel off & don't leave behind a tack. i love these little guys, & after i run out i'm for sure going to purchase them for myself on amazon. if you struggle with whiteheads & want to branch out in the pimple patch world, i'd highly recommend this brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Jenna says “things to take notice of:
☝🏻i’m wearing a full face of make up, including foundation, on the left. ✌🏻i’m not wearing anything except eye make up on the right. 🤟🏻 i got my rodan + fields regimen the day i took the picture on the left. 👌🏻the picture on the right shows one year of consistent use.”
