i always save allll my syns for a roast because in my opinion, you just substitute anything 🤷🏼♀️
this roast serves six and the syn breakdowns are (i always over estimate on syns to protect my losses but you can be more precise if you trust your portion size)...
i heated up some frylight and 1 tablespoon of oil (6 syns so 1 syn per portion) in a casserole dish, boiled some potatoes, gave them a good b**g and allowed them to cool before putting them in the frylight/oil. add a pinch of salt and pepper and cook for 40 mins on 180.
pack sage and onion stuffing made with water (1.5 syns per 25g - counting 3 for mine to be on the safe side).
schwartz cheddar cheese sauce mix made up with skimmed milk (healthy a 1) according to packet instructions (7.5 syns for the whole sachet so counting 1.5 syns once divided by 6). mix in with your cooked cauliflower and top with cheese (healthy a choice 2 per portion). you can have a whole 350ml of skimmed milk for an a choice but i count this as two just to be on the safe side. baked in the oven for 30 minutes.
aunt bessies yorkshire’s (2.5 - i had two so 5 in total).
bistro best gravy granules (1 syns per teaspoon so counting 3).
served with a load of speed. end result - liv getting confused over syn values and stroking her food baby. winner.

can’t help but feel like this plate could have done with some more green bits on it but i genuinely don’t think i can stomach another salad leaf for at least the next 24 hours.
scrambled egg, 2 x linda’s (1), 3 rashers of bacon (5 for f*t left on), 2 x potato waffles (5), mushrooms and tomato (speed) plus baked beanssss (free).
corrr, i tell you what though, this week has just absolutely knocked it out of me. i feel so ready for my bed already. i’m going to be a typical basic brit and blame the change in weather because it’s practically winter now, init? i’m soooo ready to c***k out the comforting meals (and the christmas pyjamas already). yes i said it - hibernation mode is starting to take hold, k?! 👀
anyway, friday is round the corner and i have a stinking hot bath running. i’m off to soak for an hour or 10... you know, in an attempt to hide from my child who unlike me, is so not ready for her bed. weekend, here we comeeee 🧡
