After months of searching, i’ve finally found a dresser similar in size to the ikea hemnes one which i had before.
first, i searched for a vintage dresser, but all the ones i found had only two small drawers at the top and then doors underneath which was just not the right match for this spot. so i decided to get a new dresser in as good quality as possible (within my budget) and in a rather classic style (though it’s difficult to know what you’ll like in a few years).
this one is made from solid wood, so it will hopefully last for several decades (instead of just one) and it can also be repainted and get new knobs whenever i get tired of its look. i’ll probably paint it white or light grey in the future, but right now, i really like the look (and smell) of the untreated wood, so it will stay as it is for a while.

I read it’s 21 degrees in new york today. here i had to shut the second balcony door because it was getting too cold otherwise. also thinking about going away soon. currently i’m trying to decide if i want the snow in budapest (as we haven’t had any in berlin this winter) or spring in new york (which is why i was checking the weather there in the first place). do you have any other suggestions where for a good holiday right now?
Anyone else glued to their tv with the olympics on repeat? what is your favourite sport to watch? are you a winter olympics or summer olympics lover?⠀
we are waiting for the day that competitive netflix and snacking is an olympic sport but until then we will self-proclaim ourselves gold medalist (you can do that right? 🤷).

I felt like such a blogger when i took this shot. ✌🏻it was my first time at @milktoothindy and i was absolutely dyyying at how beautifully unique the space was. the whole eclectic meets modern vibe was right up my alley. 〰as i looked around the space, i started taking mental snapshots of the corners i loved best (if you're a photographer you know you do this!). then i remembered i actually had my camera with me. 📷in a flash of courage, i stood up and snapped a few shots as people stared. i absolutely hate drawing attention to myself (especially in public) so this was quite the jump for me...and i'm so glad i did it! this year, god has been showing me how good it is to face the things that make me feel uncomfortable. i'm slowly learning that his thoughts about me should be the only ones that really matter. easier said than done if i'm being honest. as a closet people pleaser, caring what people think comes all too naturally. but hey, it's never too late to learn something new. ✨#milktoothindy#foodblogger
