Today, i am forced to resort to wearing my #happycat slippers from #thinkgeek 🙀. and let me tell you why - let's talk for a sec about 2 a day #workouts. i love #strengthtraining and i do 30-40 minute #strength circuits 6 times a week 💪. alone, that would be fine, but i'm also a #kickboxing instructor who takes class 3x a week. that means, 3 days a week, i'm #workingout 1.5-2 hours. many people think that's great! more #calories burned, more #muscle work, what's the downside?
well, there are several. working out twice a day, unless both sessions are short, usually counteracts the good you're trying to do. it's fine once in a while, don't get me wrong, but consistently? definitely not a habit you should adopt 😫. i just got home from my second workout of the day and i can feel the damage - i'm exhausted, my hip hurts, i'm still sore from yesterday, and my #depression (usually kept at bay by meds) is rearing it's ugly head as it does when i push too far 😕😕, making me irritable, snippy, and unmotivated (not what you need as a #smallbusinessowner!
