pan-fried snapper with butter lemon sauce.
spaghetti with oil and garlic (aglio et olio)
garlic green beans and cherry tomatoes
levie didn’t like my butter lemon sauce 😥, so he didn’t touch the fish, but he loved that spaghetti, even ask some more! however i have to say, my butter lemon sauce is divine, perfect pairs well with fish, seafood or chicken! 😆 .
🍋 butter lemon sauce .
1tbsp olive oil
1tbsp unsalted butter
2tsp plain flour
1tbsp lemon juice
100cc cold water
a pinch of salt and pepper .
1. melt butter in warm (not hot!) pan. add olive oil to the butter and warm briefly.
2. whisk in the flour forming a roux.
3. gradually add in the lemon juice and water, whisking as your pouring so as not to form lumps.
4. bring to a boil then allow to simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. season with salt and pepper.
