Begging for food 😂 i try to give her a big variety of foods and she likes most of them but she always saves room for superworms (literally i'll feed her snails or normal worms and she'll eat a couple then refuse to eat more but she'll happily eat a bunch of supers). she's not a huge fan of veggies or fruit. she likes corn best so far. i've tried blackberries, collards/turnip/mustard greens, acorn squash, lettuce, etc. gonna try green beans tonight. (also sorry about the reflections on the tank, her tank is pretty high up on one of my shelves.)
i've been doing a bunch of research in snapping turtles and i've decided that i'm ready.
i feel the need to add a disclaimer (which sucks but 🤷♀️) * she currently has everything she needs as a 2 inch baby. she will 100% be upgraded from her 20 gallon long tank to my 75 gallon then to a large pond/plastic water trough as she grows. she won't ever be housed with any other turtles. i know what i'm doing, i know that she will eventually become a little (aka huge) jerk. i will continue to do research and learn like i do for all of my current and future animals for probably my entire life. i will always learn as i go.
