I woke up this morning feeling great! i hopped on the scale and saw i’m down 8 lbs in the last month. this is a huge deal for me. the #pcos has done something crazy with my body these last 18 months and i was feeling like i was stuck up until 6 weeks ago. that’d i’d be like this forever. that this would never come off no matter how hard i tried. but guess what, my mindset changed when i surrounded myself with other women on a mission. i stopped listening to the fool and started speaking life. i am fired up about 8 lbs.

There’s a phenomenon referred to as “the confidence gap”. in general, women underestimate their abilities while men overestimate. strength training is the perfect example of this. my female clients are always shocked when i hand them a heavier weight. but lifting weights isn’t meant to be easy! of course, we don’t want pain, but there are times it will be uncomfortable. that’s what makes us better, stronger, leaner, faster, whatever adjective you want. ladies, don’t be afraid of the heavy weights. pick up the iron, leave the colored dumbbells in the rack. you won’t get bulky, i promise. •

increase muscle size and definition with a focus on push exercises.

barbell incline bench press.
• 2-3 lighter sets | 4-6 reps
• 1 all out set | to failure. re rack, rest 15 seconds 1-2 reps
seated dumbbell lateral raises:
• 1-2 lighter sets | 10-12 reps
• 1 all out set | to failure
• micro sets x 3 to failure resting 15 seconds in-between
leg extensions.
• 1-2 lighter sets | 10-12 reps
• 1 all out set | to failure
• drop weight by 30% hold in contracted position to failure
triceps pushdown.
• 1-2 lighter sets | 10-12 reps
• 1 all out set | 10-12 (to failure).
• drop sets to failure.
assault bike.
• 15’ max | 15’ slower x 10 sets
